# Calarin order sheet — 2026-04-12

## Use this source of truth
For ordering, trust the verified KiCad/review pack over older narrative spec text.

Verified safe-now core parts from the review pack:
- ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U-N16R8
- MSM261DGT003
- W25Q128JVSIQ
- ME6210A33M3G
- WS2812B-V5
- IP5306-I2C
- USB-C / switch / passives / headers as represented in the clean schematic set

Important note:
- some older spec prose still mentions different earlier candidates
- if there is any disagreement, the clean schematic / review pack wins

## Recommended immediate order

## Ordering tiers
### Tier 1 — place now
- Ecocell 302540
- PMD 402030
- ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U-N16R8
- MSM261DGT003
- W25Q128JVSIQ
- ME6210A33M3G
- WS2812B-V5
- IP5306-I2C

### Tier 2 — place with board assembly order
- USB-C connector
- tactile switch
- programming headers
- passives

### Tier 3 — convenience / mechanical hedge
- extra 302540 from 99Tech if desired
- MagSafe ring samples
- enclosure prototype materials

## How to avoid ordering the wrong tiny parts
Before submitting the full passives/electromechanical cart:
1. export the exact BOM from the clean KiCad project
2. use the footprint/package from the clean schematic/project, not old markdown text
3. then fill in USB-C / switch / passive line items from that BOM

## My literal recommendation
If you want the shortest correct move today:
- order the two battery classes now
- order the eight core silicon/electrical line items now
- then do the exact BOM export for passives/connectors before finalizing the rest

That gets momentum without pretending the stale textual BOM is perfect.
